The banner, made by Charlotte Dewar, shows some of the activities pupils have done during lockdown.

Charlotte, whose daughter Lily is in year four, collected photos from parents of their children’s activities, and three banners now hang on the school gates.

Mrs MacGregor, headteacher, said: “This is especially motivational for those who have not returned to class but walk past the gates during their daily exercise, to feel like they are still a part of our lovely school.

“They have also been a highlight for the children who are attending school to see so many of their friends in the lovely pictures provided.

Parents really enjoyed taking and sending in photos to Mrs Dewar of their children, and it was lovely for staff in school to see the children’s happy faces again.

“We have missed them all so much and look forward to all children returning to school.”
