Haywards Heath College welcomed a huge number of prospective students at three busy open events in October, November and February, and has received hundreds of applications.

Paul Riley, principal, said: “The college has, to date, received more than 500 applications from prospective students for courses starting in September - which is incredible. We are still receiving applications and matching students to their course choices.

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming our new students to this fantastic facility.”

Jonathan Sharrock, chief executive at Coast to Capital, added: “We are delighted to award Local Growth Funding towards Haywards Heath College that will enhance the skills offer across the area. Creating skills for the future is a key priority at Coast to Capital and our Skills 360 Board continues to ensure our area is a place where young people are given the tools they need to join the modern workforce.”
