The mixed-independent school, situated in the heart of the South Downs, welcomes children from the age of four all the way up to 13.

The school prides itself on making sure each child feels part of the Windlesham family from the moment they join, so every student is assigned a house which stays with them for their entire Windlesham journey.

Each Pre-Prep class benefits from a full time teacher and a teaching assistant, with specialist teachers in PE, games, swimming, drama, music, PSHE,Spanish and food technology. This teaching expertise, and small class sizes, allow students to discover their unique talents.

This is further enhanced by the extensive sports facilities, with a state-of-the-art sports centre and swimming pool, indoor courts, flood-lit astroturf and sports fields, resulting in a huge range of sporting activities for pupils to try.

The importance of technology is also at the heart of Windlesham’s teaching. With computing taught as a specialist subject from Reception, pupils benefit from use of the school’s PC and Mac suites as well as iPads.

There’s ample outdoor space for children to get in touch with nature, with outdoor learning being a big part of Windlesham life. Each Pre-Prep class has weekly forest school sessions where the children are taught a range of bush craft skills, and there’s even woodland tree houses nestled in the 60-acre grounds.

As well as providing a well-rounded education, the school provides a place of play for students to enjoy their childhood surrounded by their friends.

The non-selective school is perfect for families with working parents, as there is a breakfast club from 7.15am and children can stay for supper until 6.30pm if required.

Gems Activity Club is open until 6pm and offers the opportunity for the children to relax and play with their friends after a busy day or a point from which they can be taken to and collected from the many extra curricular activities on offer.

Windlesham also offers a school bus service with morning collection and evening drop off, and even runs clubs throughout the summer holidays to support families all year round.
