Oathall helps Kenyan street children

On the final day of the school year, students at Oathall Community College donated £5000 to ‘Harambee for Kenya’, a Sussex based charity that provides refuge, food, clothing and education to street children.

Support for the charity, which helps youngsters in the district of Kisii in Eastern Kenya, has not been restricted to fundraising.

Students, parents and staff at the Haywards Heath based secondary schoool have also donated bags full of sports kit.

Over the academic year, Oathall students have raised more than £8,500 for charitable causes.
