West Sussex coronavirus cases: Here are the latest figures in your area

The number of coronavirus, or Covid-19, cases continue to rise steadily across West Sussex.

Figures from Public Health England show there were 27 new cases across the county as of 4pm yesterday afternoon (September 29).

Chichester and Crawley saw the highest increases, with six new cases reported, while Adur did not record a single new case.

Five new cases were reported in Horsham, four in Arun and both Mid-Sussex and Worthing reported three new cases.

Mid-Sussex's total remains the highest since the pandemic began, with 722 confirmed cases.

The most recent weekly figures cover September 21 to 27, due to a delay in Public Health England's data updating. The number of cases recorded in total over that week, for each local authority, are as follows:

Adur - six

Arun - 21

Chichester - 19

Crawley - 24

Horsham - 19

Mid-Sussex - 20

Worthing - 26

A total of 7,143 new cases of coronavirus were reported across the UK yesterday, taking the total to 446,156.
