Burgess Hill tech team leader named finalist in UK wide awards

A Burgess Hill woman is up for an award after being named a finalist in a contest celebrating women in technology.

Hekla Helgadottir, scrum master at American Express, has been nominated in the team leader category of the 10th annual FDM everywoman in Technology Awards, held in association with The Tech She Can Charter.

This category aims to recognise a woman whose team leadership has greatly contributed to the organisation’s success of up to 100 employees.

Rod Flavell, chief executive officer of the FDM Group, said: “The FDM everywoman in Technology awards recognise the talent, hard work and dedication of women in the industry.
