Open weekend success

HILLREED Homes has held an open weekend at their brand new prestigious development, Emett Gardens in East End Lane in the heart Ditchling.

The event was a resounding success with a high level of visitors from nearby residents and local business people.

“We felt that the three homes are of such a calibre that they warranted this special weekend,” says Sally-Ann Wright, Sales Manager. ”It was important to us for visitors to have time to wander around the glamorous show home with its superior Alno German kitchen, excellent room layouts and contemporary bathrooms. We were delighted with the response.”

Emett Gardens is within walking distance of the village centre and sits within the confines of a National Park which stretches over 100 miles, the park encompassing large tracts of ancient woodlands, open heathland and the rolling downland that culminate in the white cliffs at Beachy Head.

This unspoilt village is also only an hour from London. There are good train services from nearby Burgess Hill and Hassocks with the A23 providing quick road access to Gatwick airport and the M25. The South Coast resorts are all within a short drive and major shopping centres in the vicinity include Lewes, Haywards Heath, Brighton and Worthing.

Emett Gardens comprises just three, detached, executive style houses. The Show Home is The Bramley a stylish, five bedroom detached house with 2,272 sq ft of living space comprising four reception rooms and kitchen/breakfast room plus utility together with five fabulous bedrooms and en suite facilities and separate family bathroom.

The homes are set off a quiet lane within level walking distance of the pretty, high street with its historic houses, ancient church, the popular Ditchling tea rooms, cafes and two public houses plus a small selection of retail outlets selling artwork and antiques. The surrounding unspoilt countryside is magical offering a wide choice of walkways and bridlepaths.
