Enjoying the rythmn offamous songs

Choirpower offer their summer concert Rhythm Of Life at Chequer Mead Theatre, East Grinstead, on Friday, July 19 at 7.30pm.

Spokeswoman Lesley Lowy said: “This year they will be delighting their audience with famous songs and shows from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s are, songs that are not usually performed by many choirs, such as The Way We Were, Both Sides Now, Bohemian Rhapsody, Doo Ron, Ron, Silence is Golden and Rhythm of Life.

“This year is going to be quite a long concert!” said director Rhoda Zeffertt. “There are so many lovely songs to choose from, so we decided to put them all in!!”

“The choir will once again be conducted by their musical director, Marion Shuster and accompanied by Sue Harvey. They will also be accompanied by Marianne Windham on bass and Simon Chambers on drums and there will be special entertainment from Marks and Kennard.

“We look forward to entertaining our delightful Chequer Mead audience and hope that they will join in the singing as much as possible and enjoy the concert as much as Choirpower enjoy doing it!”
