Outer spacerock band

Shoreham-based four-piece Krypton claim they are a pop rock band sent from another planet to conquer the earth.

They kick off their bid with an appearance at the Taste Of The World food fair at Fontwell Park racecourse over the weekend July 20 and 21. The band will be playing at 11am and 3pm on the Saturday.

Drummer Paul Bubloz said: “We have been together about two years. There were a couple of guys that were mates from school, and then friends of friends got us together.”

The sound is catchy melodic songs influenced by bands including Weezer, Green Day and Blink 182. As Paul says, they are a rocky version of McFly.

As for giving up the day job, Paul says: “We are realistic. If somebody came along with a big record deal, we would be ‘Oh my god!’ But really we are doing this because we love doing it. We have gigged around the Worthing area, and we have done a few gigs in Brighton. We are just trying to do as many little things as possible.”
