14 job losses in Burgess Hill as Nimbus/Saint-Gobain Abrasives ceases trading
The Nimbus/Saint-Gobain Abrasives site at Burgess Hill ceases trading today (February 28, 2014).
At one time the company employed more than 100 people in the town, but following a number of restructures in recent time, it is understood 14 people stand to lose their jobs.
Saint-Gobain Abrasives will continue to trade as normal from its Stafford Head Office, but the sector supplying direct to end users in the construction market, serviced from Burgess Hill, will discontinue.
