Since the last plan was rejected in December, amendments to the design and appearance have been made to the proposed houses, which are part of the wider development of 480 dwellings at Kings Way.

The focus has been on improving the main frontages along the access road through the development.

The planning committee concluded the proposal respects existing trees and hedgerows on the site.

It states the scheme creates an acceptable residential environment with no adverse impact on existing or future residents.

The scheme provides 23 affordable houses.
