Sussex Police was called to a man abusing and insulting a 46-year-old woman in Victoria Pleasure Grounds, New Town. She was harassed by a stranger as she walked to her car and as she drove away between 6pm and 6.30pm on Sunday (May 29), said police.

PC Dave Brown said: “This was a most distressing experience for the woman and we want to hear from anyone else who saw what happened or saw this man shouting in the park.”
