Commonwealth Day – 14th March: As mentioned in my last article the Parish Council are arranging an event this year to celebrate Commonwealth Day on Monday, 14th March.

The event will be held outside the British Legion and we thank them for the kind use of the flag pole for the event. The Commonwealth Flag will be raised at 10 am which we hope will be followed by words from St Peters Primary School and Ardingly College. Refreshments will be available in Hapstead Hall following the event which will bring the community together to celebrate this great family of nations, its diverse cultures and communities. The poster has been designed by children at St Peters Primary School.

Event – Ardingly College: ‘Get help to get connected’ returns for the New Year.

Ardingly College, Mid Sussex Older People’s Council and the Parish Council have been working in partnership with the ‘Get help to get connected’ sessions, which ran last year and have been very successful and therefore are continuing to run in the New Year.
