He said: “The standard of theatrical training at Ariel is second to none and I am honoured to be Ariel’s Patron. The Academy sets a shining example of what can be achieved with hard work and dedication.”

Students from the Academies have received top National lifetime honours for outstanding and selfless contribution to their communities, through their work with students with special needs.

The Academy also holds the Lady Diana Award for Excellence and is recognised in the industry for its work in this area and its success in teaching students with moderate to severe learning and physical disabilities, alongside mainstream academy students.
