LOCUS YOUTH GROUP meet on Friday 4 December 6.30 pm until 8.00 pm in the Parish Room.
BALCOMBE SCHOOL FAIR takes place on Saturday 5 December from 1 pm until 4.00 pm at School. There will be lots of festive fun to be had - visit Santa in his grotto, make a natural holly and willow wreath, hold a Harry Potter owl and win big in the famous table top pig race and other games. Local crafts, toys and books will be available too, with hot dogs, bacon sandwiches and mulled wine making for a great afternoon for the whole family.
CINEMA – tickets are on sale now for the next film show in the Victory Hall which will be Mr Holmes starring Ian McKellen and Laura Linney. The screening will be Friday 11 December starting at 7.30 pm with a running time of 105 minutes, and an interval for refreshments mid-way through. Tickets for this film will be £6.00 from Threads. Please note that this film is rated PG.
LET IT SNOW! – The English Arts Chorale will be performing Christmas music and readings on Sunday 13 December at 4.30 pm in St. Mary’s Church. Tickets are £12 available from Threads or on line at www.englisharts.org or call 811370. The ticket price includes refreshments.
Our fantastic CHRISTMAS TREE SOCIETY will be putting up the tree in the centre of the village on Sunday 6 December. Please note that the Carols Around the Tree Event will take place on Saturday 19 December.
