BOWLS CLUB COFFEE MORNING: takes place on Saturday 11 March from 10.00 am until 12 noon in the Parish Room. There will be a tombola, raffles, a produce stall and much more. Entrance fee 50p which includes a hot beverage.

BALCOMBE CLUB QUIZ: Pam and Barrie are asking the questions on Sunday 12 March at 8.00 pm in Balcombe Club. Teams of four.

PARISH MAGAZINE COPY: is due on Wednesday 15 March.

The HISTORY SOCIETY: have their AGM on Wednesday 15 March at 8.00 pm in the Victory Hall. The monthly talk will follow and features Ian Everest who will be talking about the Women’s Land Army, which many of you will know was organised by Lady Denman from Balcombe Place. This is a welcome return by Ian, who gave a talk on farming in the 50s. Ian’s mother was a Land Army Girl so it is a subject of particular interest to him. Entry is £1 for members and £3 for guess with refreshments included. Visitors welcome.

BARNSTORMERS COMEDY: is back in the Balcombe Club on Saturday 18 March, with a Stella line up including, Bennett Arron , John Ryan and from America Russell Hicks, Compare for the night our very own Sussex boy Steven N Allen , £10 in advance or £12 on the night. Call 811226 for tickets.

BALCOMBE BULL RUN: this event is now in its fourth year and is being held on Sunday 19th March 2017 and starts at 10.30am from Balcombe School. More information can be found at www.facebook.com/BalcombeBullRun where you can enter online. This year we are raising money for St Catherine’s Hospice and Balcombe School.
