Bolney WI: The July meeting welcomed Julie Round, an author from Worthing. Mrs Round described how her life, moving around the South as her husband changed jobs encouraged her to write a succession of light novels. Following Village Day’s challenging weather, our Coffee Morning hosted by Judy was in brilliant sunshine and was very successful both financially and socially.

Just nine members enjoyed the cream tea which is our traditional August meeting in Jill’s beautiful garden.

At our September meeting on September 8th at 2.30pm in the Rawson Hall we shall welcome Ben Cross whose family has grown alstroemeria locally for the past three generations. (Perhaps some lady members of the Horticultural Society would like to hear how it’s done?!)
