There will also be a children’s Mini Mile as well as, new for 2019, a team relay that will allow those wanting to run together an opportunity to compete alongside other groups.

Families and friends watching the races can also enjoy a day of fun family activities.

Now in its second year, the focus 10k is once again sponsored by Focus Group,.

With last year’s run proving very popular, seeing over 600 participants across a 10k, 5k and children’s Mini Mile, all raising money for children and young people with complex disabilities.

Development director at the Foundation, Sally-Anne Murray, said: “We were thrilled to see so many families at Borde Hill last year joining in the fun and fundraising.

“We expect this year to be even bigger and better, and thanks to our Headline Sponsor Focus Group, we can open the race to more participants than ever before. Events like this raise essential funds for the young people at Chailey Heritage Foundation.”
