Breaking news: Pedestrian in ‘serious’ Burgess Hill accident


Emergency services have treated two pedestrians who are thought to have been injured in an accident in Station Road, Burgess Hill tonight (January 14).

Witnesses said the incident happened outside the station at 8.30pm.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene and officers from Sussex Police closed the road.

Ambulance crews are believed to have been treating the pedestrian.

Keymer Road in Burgess Hill has been closed by police.

Sussex Police Forensic Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Unit has described the incident as a ‘serious’ Road Traffic Collision..
