Here are some festive snaps our photographer Steve Robards captured on the day.

This year, there was a free ice rink, children’s amusement rides, giant snow globe, music and entertainment, Santa’s sleigh, plus lots more.

Youngsters were also able to visit Santa in his grotto at Burgess Hill Radio in Church Walk.

Pick up this week's Middy, which is out on Thursday (November 22), for a full report on the event.
