Mark has cooked at some of the UK’s most distinguished eateries including Le Gavroche in London and the Waterside Inn at Bray, as well as years working as private chef to King Hussein of Jordan.

Now Mark, and his team of young chefs, is taking on The Crown on Horsted Keynes village green, the listed building that burnt down after a lightning strike several years ago.

Mark, the former holder of a Michelin Star, says his aim at the Crown is to offer affordable excellence in a daily menu based on local, seasonal ingredients, affordable wines and beers.
