Haywards Heath Horticultural Society held its annual Autumn Show and there were some ‘outstanding’ entries this year.

Shirley Anderson, chairman of the society, said: “We all enjoyed a very successful show enhanced by exceptionally colourful dahlias, chrysanthemums, and floral entries.

“The vegetables were outstanding and were much admired by members and visitors who also enjoyed browsing round an excellent photographic exhibition by local photographer Laura Morgan.

“We thanked Dave Vivash, our president for his contributions to the society, and he presented the cups, medals and certificates to all class winners.”

Sylvia Harris, vice chairman of the society added: “We had an excellent Autumn Show with some outstanding entries.”
