Controlled explosion in Haywards Heath

Sussex Police officers have tweeted that a controlled explosion of a wartime artefact has been carried out in Haywards Heath.

The message was posted on Twitter just before midday today (Wednesday) with an accompanying photograph of a white Royal Logistic Corps van parked adjacent to open ground.

The tweet from @hheath_police said: “A controlled explosion of a wartime artefact has been carried out by EOD in Bolnore Rd, Haywards Heath”.
