County news: Tree falls on car in Storm Imogen

A tree fell onto a car in Sussex as Storm Imogen batters the south coast this afternoon (Monday, February 8).

The tree fell onto the A21 near Hastings at around 1.45pm.

The road is currently closed at Sedlescombe between the A28 junction and Paygate Road.

An eye-witness Frank Copper said the tree fell onto a woman’s car as she was driving.

He said she was unhurt but a little shaken.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended.
