25 drivers charged with drink-related offences over Christmas

Twenty five motorists were charged with drink-related driving offences in Sussex over the Christmas period.

In six days between Christmas Eve and 29 December 38 people were arrested, 25 of these were charged and seven bailed.

Those charged include:

Daniel Booth, 44 and unemployed, was stopped near his home in Triangle Road, Haywards Heath, on Christmas Eve following information that the driver of a car may be drunk. He was charged and bailed to appear before Crawley magistrates on 15 January.

Alexander Youssef’s car landed on its roof in Station Road, Rotherfield, in the early hours of Christmas morning. Mr Youssef, 24, of Lyham Road, London, has been charged and bailed to Brighton magistrates on 23 January.
