Chickens worth £1,000 stolen from farm in Hickstead

As many as 80 hybrid chickens could have been stolen from a farm in Hickstead overnight on Wednesday June 10.

The owner of a farm in Old London Road reported that between 50 and 80 birds valued at more than £1,000 were stolen.

Three plastic crates were also taken.

Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information can email [email protected] or call 101 quoting serial 386 of 11/06.
