Court results - Mid Sussex

The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Armin Moghaddas, 34, of Leylands Road, Burgess Hill, was banned from driving for 19 months, with a £600 fine, a £30 victim surcharge, and £625 costs. He had been found guilty of drink driving, driving without a licence, and driving without insurance, all in Burgess Hill.

Louis Chadwick, 34, from Turkey, of no fixed UK address, was banned from driving for two years, with a £2,835 fine, a £120 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at Hickstead.

James Hall, 31, of Ann Close, Hassocks, was fined £120, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order by going to an address in Shoreham.

Tyler Harvey, 22, of Brook Close, East Grinstead, was given a six month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge. He had pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and admitted breaching a suspended sentence.

Deniss Denissov, 42, of no fixed address, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to theft of food and alcohol from Iceland in Haywards Heath.

Luke Brown, 25, of Robin Close, East Grinstead, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had been found guilty of driving without an MoT certificate at East Grinstead.

Keith Walsh, 36, of Netley Close, New Addington, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at East Grinstead.

Fehad Javaid, 27, of Borrowdale Close, Crawley, was fined £250, with a £25 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without a licence at Handcross.

Lee Porte, 25, of Junction Road, Burgess Hill, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge. He had pleaded guilty to failing to answer bail.

Christopher Pawley, 31, of Brighton Road, Crawley, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £200 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at East Grinstead.
