Hay bale set alight in Burgess Hill
A hay bale was deliberately set alight last night (Monday July 29) in Burgess Hill.
Firefighters were called to a field off Freeks Lane just after 9pm.
One small hay bale was on fire and a hose was used to put it out.
The emergency service reported it as ‘deliberate ignition’
