Murder suspect arrested in West Sussex

DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a teenager have arrested a 20-year-old man in West Sussex.

Vasilaki Kakko, 17, was killed in London on November 23 and the Metropolitan Police has been trying to track down his killer.

A suspect was arrested yesterday (November 30) in Bognor Regis on suspicion of murder by officers from the Met’s homicide and major crime command, assisted by Sussex Police.

Mr Kakko was stabbed in Yoke Close, off North Road, Holloway.

London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended along with police and the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene at 9.21pm.

A post-mortem examination held at Whittington Hospital Mortuary on November 25 gave cause of death as a stab wound to the neck.

“Officers retain an open mind as to any motive at this time,” said a statement released by the Met.
