This unique survey has been created to gather statistics on how fearful dog owners are at this time, and how prevalent this crime may be. It is also looking at whether the public are happy with the response from their local police forces and also if they think the penalties for perpetrators should be greater.

Tens of thousands of people have already taken part in the 60 second survey which you can fill in here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/dogtheftNext week Mrs Bourne will be meeting with representatives from the Home Office and Dr Daniel Allen who founded the Pet Theft Reform to present her national findings and discuss the next steps.
