Rare stamp and bow and arrows taken in Hassocks burglary

Police are seeking information about a burglary in Hassocks in which distinctive items were stolen.

Some time after 8pm Saturday evening January 18 the flat in Belmont Close, Hassocks, was entered and a ‘Recurve’ wooden and white fibreglass bow with 32 arrows, and a 1966 World cup first day stamp cover were taken.

Detective Constable Oliver Summers said; “Please contact us if you saw anyone acting suspiciously around that time in Belmont Close. We would also like to hear from anyone who is offered these unusual items. If you can help please call 101 or email [email protected] quoting serial 1370 of 18/1.
