Scammers target Horsham police officer

Scammers have targeted a Horsham Police officer, the force has revealed.

Horsham Police said one of their team was called on his work phone by a computer generated voice which claimed he was a wanted man.

A spokesman added: “He’s not wanted, we checked.

“Scammers are indiscriminate in their targets and they only need one person to believe them.

“If you have a doubt, you are probably right to.”
