Tilgate attempted murder trial starts today

An attempted murder trial over an alleged hammer attack at a home in Tilgate is due to start today (Monday April 4).

Jason Halliday, 45, of Ross Close, is charged with attempted murder.

The alleged incident happened at a house in Ross Close on Wednesday October 28 2015.

Halliday had pleaded not guilty to attempted murder - but changed his plea to guilty this morning.
