Cuckfield Youth Club: Recently, Cuckfield Parish Council acquired a community building in London Lane, known to many as the Youth Club. It is a building which is used by many groups, Pre-school, Kumon, Judo and other youth, but we hope other people within the community would like to hire it for a party, art class, choir rehearsal or any other event in the future. The Parish Council is having an open afternoon on Friday, 18th September.

Cuckfield Dramatic Society presents ‘Silhouette’ by Simon Brett. Performance Dates and Times: Wed Oct 28th to Fri 30th at 8:00pm, with a matinee on Sat Oct 31st at 2:30pm - Note that there is no Saturday evening show scheduled! Discounts for tickets are available for purchases made at least a month in advance. They are also available from the CDS website, or by phone from their ticket agency on 0333 666 3366 (local rate) Mon-Fri 9-7pm, and Sat 9-5pm. Booking fees of up to 10% and an additional £1.50 telephone service charge apply to phone & online.

Cuckfield Village Show is taking place this Saturday 12th September. Come along to view the exhibits and enjoy the entertainment. The Women’s Institute will be serving refreshments - homemade cakes at reasonable prices and will be dressed in early 20th century outfits to celebrate WI Day in September since it is the centenary of the WI.

Cuckfield Local Food Market takes place in The Talbot Courtyard, High Street, RH17 5JX every second Saturday in the month from 9.30 to 12.00 noon. This fantastic local food market sells delicious cakes, bread, fish, cheese, vegetables, meat and game. It is organised by Volunteers and promotes locally available food. The next market is this Saturday, 12th September and the dates thereafter are 10th October 2015 , 14th November 2015, and the Christmas market will be on 12th December 2015.

Cats’ Protection Mid Sussex branch of held their annual summer garden party on 9th August. The good summer weather enabled the grand total of £1,750 to be raised.
