CUCKOO PRODUCTIONS (aka Cuckfield Dramatic Society) is presenting its Christmas Cabaret Show on Saturday, December 12. Tickets at £15 per person for show and a two course meal (waitress service and licensed bar) are selling fast. So come to ‘Ze Kuckoo Klub’ (also known as the Queen’s Hall) for a variety show full of song and dance from the Burlesque of a 1930’s decadent Berlin the late 1940’s and American swing plus, as it’s Christmas, a couple of seasonal songs from the era! Great vocalists and dancers presented in true cabaret style. And if you’re still ‘in ze mood’ after the show there will be music and dancing to keep us ‘in ze groove’ until breakfast or 11.30pm – whichever comes first. CHRISTMAS FOOD MARKET: The fantastic local food market for Christmas will be held on December 12. Delicious cakes, bread, fish, cheese, vegetables, meat and game. Find us at the Talbot Courtyard in the High Street from 9.30am until 12.30pm. Organised by Volunteers to promote locally available food.

THE INDEPENDENT STATE of Cuckfield Christmas Lunch and Party, Friday December 4, in The Queen’s Hall from 12.30pm. ART FAIR Winter exhibition at our exciting new venue of the Queens Hall Cuckfield. Open from 12 midday on Friday November 27, with a special evening view with wine and canapés from 6pm to 8pm. Over the next two days, we will be selling home made cakes with tea or coffee in aid of the Air Ambulance and in memory of our late Chairman, John Amos. There will also be demonstrations by some of our artists. We have 25 exhibiting Artists, with paintings, sculpture, woodcarving and glass work. Please come and bring your friends
