Cuckfield Museum guide: Richard Constable, will lead a relaxed evening stroll around Cuckfield on Aug 16th, starting from the Queen’s Hall at 6.30pm, looking at features of historic interest. £5 or £3 for members. To book a place, ring Phillipa Malins 01444 452307.

Rain or Shine Theatre Company: will present Midsummer Night’s Dream in Cuckfield Recreation Ground on Friday 5th August. Doors open at 6.00, the performance starts at 7.00. Tickets are available from Cuckfield Parish Council Office (check web site for opening times) or the Credit Card Hotline 03306 600541 - Adults £13, Concessions £11 and Children £6. Bring a picnic and something to sit on (low back chairs please). It wet, the performance will take place in the Queen’s Hall.

Cuckfield Mayor: candidate, Evelyn Stenning, is holding a fund raising coffee morning in the Old School, Cuckfield on Saturday 30th July at 10.15 until 12 noon.
