Ditchling Mummers Workshops: Ditchling Mummers will perform at the Bull Hotel in Ditchling on Boxing Day this year, 26 December for the 30th consecutive year. It is now a local tradition that attracts 300-400 local residents and visitors. Collections are always for a local charity. To help this now well established event to continue we are seeking new members. All men are welcome, no experience needed but if you can sing, dance, read a script, play a musical instrument and happy to perform in front of large crowds or just want to help - you would be most welcome.
If interested in performing this year, we are holding introductory Mumming Workshops on Saturday 3rd October at 10.30am and Wednesday 7th October at 8.00pm. Both will be in the Lower Village Hall, Ditchling. If this seems interesting and you would like to be involved in please contact Roger Vail on 01273 844454 or John Bacon on 01273 843938 for more information.
