Ditchling

Ditchling Downs WI: The speaker for the November meeting was Nancy Stafford. As a former air hostess with British Caledonian Nancy treated the WI to a lively and amusing description of her working life. She had an ambition to be an air hostess since the age of eleven. Nancy had many tales to tell and displayed a variety of uniforms she wore during her 25 years' service. Nancy described her years with British Caledonian as a wonderful career, and is thrilled that her daughter is just embarking on a similar career. The January 2019 meeting is being held in the Old Meeting House in the Twitten, Ditchling on Tuesday 8 January at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7.00pm. Guests are welcome and the speaker is Dai Thomas on the subject of Lowland Rescue.

For this production the Players are pleased to welcome not only a new director Susie D’Arcy, but also several new faces amongst the cast. And then There Were None is the story that made Agatha Christie the best--selling novelist of all time.
