Charity Football Match and Fun Day: is being held on Sunday 28 August at Ditchling Recreation Ground. Chris Andrews and other team mates at Ditchling Football Club are raising money for Cure Leukaemia. There will be attractions including a bouncy castle, beat the goalie, children’s tug of war, a barbecue, a bar courtesy of Dark Star Brewery and cake stall. The event starts at 12 noon with the charity football match kick off at 1pm. The Ditchling squad will be joined by former Crystal Palace player Geoff Thomas.

Compassion in World Farming: This recently formed local group of Ditchling supporters of the charity CIWF, are travelling to London on Monday 29 August to take part in the global day of action against the long distance transport of live animals.
