High calibre speakers from top commerce outlets are being lined up for next month’s event for the Haywards Heath business community.

The conference takes place on March 7 at Clair Hall in Perrymount Road and will be opened by Mid Sussex MP Nicholas Soames.

Delegates will be able to learn from senior business leaders about topics including how to Maximise People Contribution, Maximise Sales and Expand Markets, Protect a Business and Become a Global Player.

HHDBA states: “Business is changing faster than ever before and it is essential for senior managers and business owners to understand the growth opportunities available to them and the strategies and skills needed to realise these opportunities.

“This unique Mid Sussex conference organised by the Haywards Heath & District Business Association has arranged Senior Business Leaders with substantial experience in their fields.”

After the initial welcome, the conference will take off at a fast pace with a presentation by Adrian Corbin from Uckfield-based Scientifica.

Scientifica specialises in supplying innovative products to electrophysiology and imaging researchers.

It has enjoyed steady growth since its inception in 1997 and Adrian was instrumental in the company winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise recently.

He will introduce the conference themes by showing just what is possible for businesses in Mid Sussex.

Following on will be Carolyn Bentley, International Trade Adviser/Team Manager at the government’s UK Trade & Investment department.

Carolyn has 20 years experience in international trade across the south east and will illustrate how firms may be missing out on exports.

Other speakers include: Tim Rylatt, of ActionCOACH which has 1,000 offices in 46 countries; Sue Berry, director at TimelessTime, who will talk about people management; Rick Warley, managing director at Mavintree; Nick Handley, managing director at Market Leadership; Neil Edwards, managing director at the Marketing Eye; Jason Dilworth, managing director at fifty6 ;and Fiona Mulliner, managing director at Jumpstart Interactive.

Earlybirdtickets are available on the HHDBA website until 11.30pm tomorrow (Friday, February 14) with ordinary tickets available from Saturday.
