Two brothers from Ashington are set to melt viewers’ hearts when they appear in the very last episode of Downton Abbey being screened on TV on Christmas Day.
Little Zac and Oliver Barker share the role of Master George Crawley in the acclaimed series.
But this week real-life mum Clare was not revealing anything about the final Christmas special storyline.
“It’s all top secret,” she said. But she admitted that the five-year-old brothers “are in it quite a bit. ‘Please don’t Go’ being the line that will seemingly melt people’s hearts!”
Although the Christmas Day programme has been billed as the last ever in the Downton series, the boys’ acting career is far from over.
They are to appear in a new Guy Ritchie film called King Arthur - in which they share the role of the young King Arthur - which is set to hit cineam screens in the spring.
The boys, who started school in September, will be starring alongside Jude Law and Eric Bana amongst others.
But the youngsters are far from being star-struck and are well-used to the limelight.
They were among Downton Abbey actors who were honoured at a glittering ceremony hosted by Jonathan Ross and staged by BAFTA earlier this year, which was shown on television last week.
