Drivers were delayed after three cars collided at the junction of the B2116 Hassocks Road and Spinney Close in Hurstpierpoint yesterday (February 9).
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “One vehicle was a silver Fiat Punto, the driver of which, a 20-year-old Henfield woman, suffered shock and attended the Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath.
“Her car was in collision with a blue Alfa Romeo 147, driven by a 43-year-old woman from Hurstpierpoint, and a black Chrysler Voyager, driven by a 38-year-old woman from Poynings.
“Neither of these drivers were hurt.
“The incident blocked the road for about an hour while the incident was dealt with and local diversions were set up.”
