Children at Northlands Wood host harvest festival

The younger children of Northlands Wood Primary Academy treated their parents and staff to a harvest assembly.

The children performed songs about a big red combine harvesters and poems of the harvest theme.

This year the harvest gifts given by families are being donated to Family Support Work (FSW) who support local families in crisis.

Nikki Kerr, director of fundraising and marketing, said: “We are so grateful to Northlands Wood for their extremely generous Harvest donations. We will be distributing these to the local families we work with.”

Mark Sears, headteacher said: “We are so grateful to our families for their gifts.”
