Family appeal over missing Mid Sussex tortoise

Late last night, the family noticed that their pet tortoise Henry was missing from his hutch in their back garden.

Henry’s owner said: “For him to go missing from his hutch at this time of year is not like him.

“He’s an old boy, with very fixed routines.”

The owners are ‘very worried’ and are advising neighbours in the Manor Gardens area to check gardens if you live nearby, especially under leaf piles.

Hopefully he has snuggled down warm somewhere for the winter but his owners would like him home.
