West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service tweeted: "Our crews from @CrawleyFire999 are dealing with a fire involving a large vehicle near @WSrecycles Crawley Household Waste Recycling Site. If you live nearby, please keep your doors and windows closed while the fire is extinguished."
