Firefighters have been coming to the rescue of several flooded properties in Burgess Hill today (Thursday August 13).

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said reports of flooding started coming in at around 11am.

Fire engines have been deployed to Oak Hall Park and Ash Way as well as other areas and firefighters are still in Park Road.
