Colourful characters in impressive costumes provided a spectacle as Burgess Hill Bonfire Night returned for another year.
Thousands of people took part in the torchlit parade while even more watched the popular annual event taking place on Saturday (September 26).
The photos in the gallery above were snapped by Neil Parks, Phil Cross and Dave Mann.
A remembrance parade to the war memorial was followed by a first procession and spectacular grand procession as dusk fell.
The grand procession ended at Fairfield Recreation Ground where a firework display lit up the night sky and the bonfire was lit.
Festivities began earlier in the day with the judging of the guy competition at Benson’s Funfair.
The society thanked the large crowd that lined the streets for helping to raise £2,335 for local charities.
Sapphire Stroke Club, Kangaroos, Court Meadow RDA, Brighton in Need and Evelina VIPs Transplant Sports Team will share the society’s charity collection this year.
