After a devastating theft saw cash for a hospice stolen, a garden centre has rallied to raise more funds.

South Downs Nurseries, in Hassocks, raised money for St Peter and St James Hospice in Chailey through the charity Firewalk.

The cash was stolen but staff raised another £350 to replace it.

The money was handed over in a special cheque presentation, pictured.
