A build of 36 homes in Ardingly has been given the green light by Mid Sussex District Council.
The application, permitted by Mid Sussex District Council’s planning committee last night (July 30), will see the build on land at Standgrove Field, Lodgelands.
The council’s planning officer told councillors to permit the plan subject to legal agreements as it will include 11 affordable homes and will create a ‘high quality and interesting environment for future residents and it is not felt that any significant adverse harm would be caused to the character and appearance of the surrounding area and the High Weald Area of Natural Beauty’.
Access will be from a new entrance onto College Road, with the existing field closed off.
