A Burgess Hill optician is celebrating two decades of caring for the community’s eye health by hosting a 90s themed fundraiser in aid of Guide Dogs.
Specsavers, in Church Road, will host a weekend of celebrations starting on August 28 and is inviting residents to come to the store and enjoy the festivities.
Staff will be swapping their uniforms for shell suits and headbands and have a host of activities planned over the weekend.
Children who come into store as their favourite 90s pop stars can take home a goodie bag and win other great prizes. They will also be holding a raffle with prizes including 10 pairs of single vision designer specs.
Customers can also get 25% off glasses over the weekend.
Maggie Johnson, store director, said: “Celebrating our 20th birthday is an important milestone – and we want to celebrate it with our loyal customers. It seems like only yesterday that we opened and I would like to thank our fantastic customers for their continued loyalty.
“We are also looking forward to raising vital funds for a worthy cause and a charity which is close to all our hearts.”
Guide Dogs provides help to thousands of blind and partially sighted people across the UK through the provision of guide, mobility and other rehabilitation services.
They also campaign for the rights of those with visual impairments and invest in eye disease research.
